Pokemon Go Spotlight Hour July
Spotlight Hour is coming to Pokemon Go this July. During one hour each week, a specific Pokemon will have a much higher than usual chance to spawn around you. This will take place every Tuesday during July. These dates are the following Tuesdays in July: July 6, July 13, July 20, and July 27. This isn’t all that’s happening in Pokemon Go this July, and in this Pokemon Go Spotlight Hour July guide, we will go over the most important events and see how you can benefit from taking part in them. So, let’s begin, shall we?
When Does The Pokemon Go Spotlight Hour In July Take Place?
This will occur each Tuesday during 6 PM and 7 PM in your time zone. All you need to do in order to participate is to have your Pokemon Go app open during that time. These Pokemon will all have a Shiny version, so going hunting for them Tuesday is a good opportunity to nab yourselves some shinies. Here is a list of the Pokemon that will be featured then:
- Tuesday, July 6, 2021, from 6 PM to 7 PM: Bulbasaur will be in the spotlight. Also, you’ll earn twice the XP for catching Pokémon.
- Tuesday, July 13, 2021, from 6 PM to 7 PM: Charmander will be in the spotlight. Also, you’ll earn twice the XP for catching Pokémon.
- Tuesday, July 20, 2021, from 6 PM to 7 PM: Squirtle will be in the spotlight. Also, you’ll earn twice the XP for catching Pokémon.
- Tuesday, July 27, 2021, from 6 PM to 7 PM: Natu will be in the spotlight. Also, you’ll earn twice the XP for catching Pokémon.
Besides this, there is also a special Raid Hour event each Wednesday, also from 6 PM to 7 PM your local time. The following Pokemon will be featured in these Raid Hour events:
- Wednesday, July 7, 2021, from 6 PM to 7 PM: Defense Forme Deoxys.
- Wednesday, July 14, 2021, from 6 PM to 7 PM: Defense Forme Deoxys.
- Wednesday, July 21, 2021, from 6 PM to 7 PM: Mewtwo.
- Wednesday, July 28, 2021, from 6 PM to 7 PM: To be announced.
