The first one is will spotlight Buneary, connecting to the Spring into Spring event. Additionally, it will give you Double transfer Candy, so make sure to use that to your advantage. In the list below, we’ll show you the dates of all the April Spotlights and the accompanying bonuses.

  • April 6: Buneary; Double transfer Candy
  • April 13: Mankey; Double evolution XP
  • April 20: Grimer; Double capture Stardust
  • April 27: Finneon; Double capture XP

For those of you that are unfamiliar with the Spotlight Hours in Pokemon Go, allow me to get you up to speed. Basically, they’re like mini Community Days. During that one hour (every Tuesday from 6 to 7 PM local time), the spawn rates of the spotlight Pokemon increase. Additionally, you can make use of the different boosts that you get during the event. As you can see in the list above, these include stuff like double transfer Candy and Stardust, double XP, and the like. Sometimes, they compliment whatever larger event might be going on, like we’ve explained. Either way, it’s a nice way to get you going and engaged for a little bit.
