Can Turtonator be Shiny in Pokemon GO

Yes, Turtonator will be shiny in Pokemon GO in 2023. The new Pokemon will come out as a part of the upcoming Dark Flames event, which begins on June 29th at 10 AM local time and will last until July 2nd at 8 PM local time. So, look out for both the shiny and regular versions of Turtonator starting on the 29th of June, 2023. I’m not sure what the exact differences between the two are; I think it’s mostly in the color of the shell on Turtonator’s back and its helmet. Of course, do keep in mind that the shiny version will be very rare, just like all others. Same goes for Mega Sableye, which will make its debut in Mega Raids during Dark Flames.

And there you go, that’s all we know about Turtonator and its shiny version in Pokemon GO in 2023. Well, we also know that it’s a dual Dragon- and Fire-type. Therefore, it should be really strong against Electric, Bug, Grass, Fire and Steel Pokemon, but weak against Dragon-, Rock- and Ground-types. Will it be any good in higher-level fights? I’m not entirely sure, that will depend on what moveset Niantic gives it. However, it will definitely be worth hunting down at least one Turtonator just to fill in the blank in your Pokedex. And I’m sure it will come in handy at least in some Raids, depending on who you’re fighting. We’ll have to wait until June 29th and see.
