Can Shedinja be Shiny in Pokemon GO

Yes, Shedinja can be shiny in Pokemon GO in 2022, and that will likely remain the case for as long as the game exists. I’ve yet to hear of any shiny Pokemon suddenly ceasing to exist. Now, with that said, there are a few problems we have to get into here. For one, it’s incredibly difficult to tell a shiny Shedinja from a regular one. It’s just a slightly lighter shade of brown. So, if you really want to get one, you’ll pretty much have to catch every single Shedinja you come across and hope for the best. On top of that, there’s also the fact that this particular Pokemon doesn’t tend to show up in the wild that often.

Luckily, you’ll apparently have plenty of chances to catch a shiny Shedinja in Pokemon GO during October 2022. It seems like encounters with it are going to be rewards for completing certain Research Tasks. This info has not yet been officially, so we can’t say for certain whether this will be the case. We’ll be sure to keep you updated, so stay tuned. The third and final problem with Shedinja, shiny or not, is that it’s largely completely useless. I mean, sure, it’s cute, and it has some really good resistances (especially against Fighting), but it’s so very weak. Even when upgraded, it really can’t do much against anyone. However, if you’re a completionist, I’m sure this is not going to stop you.
