Pokemon GO Eevee Spotlight Hour 2023

The Pokemon GO 2023 Eevee Spotlight Hour, as all such events, will have the featured Pokemon spawning way more often in the wild, including the shiny version. We are going to cover that in a bit more detail in the next section. For now, let’s focus on the event itself. It will take place on Tuesday, March 7th, from 6 PM to 7 PM local server time. And, yes, there is also an event bonus for you to enjoy. This week it’s double Transfer Candy. That means you’ll get twice the Candy for sending Pokemon to Professor Willow, regardless of whether it’s an Eevee or not. That said, you might want to focus on Eevee if you still have some of its evolutions to unlock.

Can Eevee be Shiny in Pokemon GO

Yes, Eevee can absolutely be shiny in Pokemon GO, so the 2023 Spotlight Hour will be a great opportunity to catch at least one. Hopefully more, because every single evolution of Eevee also has a shiny variant. And the adorable Pokemon has eight evolutions in this game: Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, Espeon, Umbreon, Glaceon, Leafeon and Sylveon. Obviously, we won’t go into how to evolve Eevee into all of its versions. What we will do is explain how to tell the difference between a shiny and a regular one. The shiny is the color of eggshell, or something of the like, while the normal version is the brown we all know and love. So, it’s easy to tell them apart.
