Shiny Drilbur in Pokemon GO 2022
If you’re looking for a way to get a shiny Drilbur in Pokemon GO in 2022, you might be in for a bit of a disappointment. I know that I’ve been hoping to catch one, since I’m a huge fan of Excadrill and would love to evolve a shiny one. Unfortunately, I’m afraid both you and I are out of luck. At least, for the moment.
Can Drilbur be Shiny in Pokemon GO
No, Drilbur can not be shiny in Pokemon GO in 2022, as far as we know. Its evolution, Excadrill, has no shiny variant either. If we are wrong on this, let us know in the comments below. It could be that we are just exceptionally unlucky, but to the best of our knowledge, there is no shiny Drilbur in this particular game. In fact, if you take a look at the post announcing the Test Your Mettle event, you’ll notice that Drilbur is one of the Pokemon that have no stars in the top right corner of their “portrait.” That pretty much cements it, since only Pokemon that have those little stars have shiny variants. So, if you’re playing Test Your Mettle and are on the hunt for a special Drilbur, forget about it.
So, that’s all we know about shiny Drilbur in Pokemon GO in 2022. Now, of course, thing might change at some point. Maybe Niantic is going to introduce the special variant at some point in the future. After all, Drilbur does have shiny versions in other Pokemon games, so it’s probably not entirely out of the question. That’s not to say that you should just disregard Drilbur when you run into it. The Pokemon is pretty good on its own. On top of that, Excadrill is actually incredible. It is very durable against many different types of attacks, and can deal some serious damage, too. Funny how that works
