Can Bounsweet be Shiny in Pokemon GO

No, Bounsweet can’t be shiny in Pokemon GO at time of writing. The same goes for its two evolutions, Steenee and Tsareena. At least, that will be the case during Sustainability Week, the event in which Bounsweet is going to make its debut. How do we know that? Well, if you take a gander at the announcement post, you’ll see that the Fruit Pokemon’s icon doesn’t have the three stars in the upper right part. That means there’s no shiny version. So, if you were planning to devote any amount of time to catching a special version of the radish-like creature, don’t bother. Just enjoy the event for what it has to offer; it will feature its share of other shinies.

So, that’s basically all you need to know about the existence of the shiny Bounsweet in Pokemon GO. Will that change in the future? I mean, it might. There’s plenty of precedent for it. We’ll have to see what happens, but the fact remains that there is no shiny radish at now. Incidentally, Sustainability Week will take place from Thursday, April 20th, 2023 at 10 AM local time to Wednesday, April 26th, 2023 at 8 PM local time. It will feature Bounsweet in wild encounters (if you’re lucky), in seven-kilometer Eggs, and in Timed Research. Tocontinue the theme, you’ll be able to purchase avatar items like the Bounsweet Hat, the Steene Shirt and the Tsareena Boots.
