Pokemon GO Season of Light Release Date, Sun & Moon Legendaries
In our Pokemon GO Season of Light Release Date, Sun & Moon Legendaries guide, we’re going to share all the information we have on the upcoming season. Granted, it’s pretty sparse at the moment, so we’ll have to include some educated guesswork. We’ll expand the article as we learn more. So, with the intro out of the way, let’s dive straight in.
Pokemon GO Season of Light Release Date & Time
The Pokemon GO Season of Light release date and time will most likely be Thursday, September 1st at 10 AM local time. The date has been confirmed via this teaser trailer, but the time is just an educated guess on our part. We’ll be sure to share any official information when (and if) the developers choose to share it. There are still three days left before the new season kicks off, so we’re bound to learn more as the date draws closer. As for what we can expect to encounter in the Season of Light, we don’t know much just yet. I’m excited to learn more, as I know many of you are. That said, here’s what we do know almost for certain.
Pokemon GO Sun and Moon Legendaries Teased
If you check out the Season of Light teaser trailer we’ve linked above, you’ll see that the devs are clearly teasing the arrival of Sun and Moon legendaries in Pokemon GO. The first half features a constellation which clearly takes the form of Solgaleo. Then, the second half has a the shape of a jagged wing on the moon. I’d be very surprised if that wasn’t foreshadowing Lunala, pun intended. Besides, it’s called Season of Light. Of course this would be the perfect time to introduce content from Sun and Moon. Now, will we be encountering other Pokemon created for these two games? I’d say the odds of that are pretty good. For now, though, I feel safe saying that Solgaleo and Lunala will definitely be included.
