How to Redeem Pokemon GO Rotom Code?

You can redeem the Rotom code in Pokemon GO and get access to the Ghost in the Machine research tasks and rewards the same way you’d use any other code. If you don’t know how that goes, allow me to bring you up to speed. You can’t actually do this in the game itself. Rather, you need to go to the Pokemon GO web store (just click here). Sign in by clicking or tapping the green button in the upper right. After that, hit the Offer Redemption button that’s also in the upper right. Copy the code 0HY0UF0UNDM3 into the text box and hit Apply. That’s all there is to it! And props to the Trainers that guessed the code correctly, by the way.

Pokemon GO Ghost in the Machine Research Tasks & Rewards

Okay, now that we know how to redeem the Rotom code in Pokemon GO, how do you actually access the Ghost in the Machine research tasks and rewards? Well, you will need to restart the app if it was running when you used the code. Restart the app, open the menu and go to the Events tab. This is a time-limited Research thing, so that’s where it’ll go, not under Special. What you need to do is catch thirty Pokemon originally discovered in the Sinnoh Region. For your troubles, you’ll get a handful of Candy, 479 Stardust and 479 XP. Get it, because Rotom’s Pokedex number is 479. Most importantly, you’ll get an encounter with the Ghost in the Machine itself, Rotom.
