Pokemon GO Power Plant Event Start Time & Date

The start or release time and date of the Pokemon GO Power Plant event is Wednesday, January 19th at 10 AM local time. The event will wrap upon Tuesday, February 1st, also at 10 AM local time, according to this post. One of the main draws of the happening is the debut of Helioptile and its evolution, Heliolisk. It will take 50 Helioptile Candy and a Sun Stone to complete the process, by the way. Luckily, the new Pokemon will appear as a wild spawn during the event, along with others like Grimer, Electabuzz, Voltorb, Porygon, Magnemite, Jolteon, Trubbish and Electrode. And, yes, some of them can be Shiny.

When the Pokemon GO Power Plant event start time and date rolls around, you can also look forward to a bunch of interesting Pokemon being available via Field Research. Common appearances will include Helioptile, Voltorb, Electrike, Joltik and Magnemite, while Alolan Grimer, Emolga and Trubbish will be more rare. As for Raids, one-star raids will feature Bedlum, Blitzle, Klink, Pikachu and Shinx and three-star Raids will feature Scyther, Mawile, Druddigon and Typhlosion from January 15th to 24th and Piloswine, Dewgong, Druddigon and Monferno from January 24th to February 1st. Lastly, when it comes to Tier 5 Raids, you can expect to see Genesect from January 15th to 24th and Regice from January 24th to February 1st. Oh, and let’s not forget the “A Bad Feeling” leg of the event, during which Team Rocket will be more active than usual.
