Pokemon GO Nosepass Spotlight Hour

The Pokemon GO Nosepass Spotlight Hour event will take place on Tuesday, June 7th, from 6 PM to 7 PM local server time, and it will include a higher spawn rate of this particular Pokemon, including its shiny version. That’s all pretty common fair for these events, but you never know which Spotlight Hour is somebody’s first. It bears repeating. As for the event bonus, this week it’s going to be double catch Candy. In other words, you’ll earn twice the Candy for each Pokemon you catch. That’s always handy, especially if you catch a shiny Nosepass and want to evolve it into a shiny Probopass. Speaking of shiny, let’s get into that for a little bit.

Can Nosepass Be Shiny?

Yes, Nosepass can be shiny in Pokemon GO, and that version will have a higher spawn rate during the Spotlight Hour event. So, if you don’t have one (or more) already, then this will be the perfect chance to snag a couple. You’ll still need to get lucky, but the odds will be a bit less against you. On the bright side, the shiny version of Nosepass is incredibly easy to spot. While the regular variant is grayish, shiny Nosepass is a bright yellow. So, if you run into one, you’ll immediately be able to tell whether it’s shiny or not. Unless you’re colorblind, but I can’t really help you in that case, unfortunately. Still, it’s easier than some other Pokemon.
