Pokemon GO Munna Spotlight Hour

The Munna Spotlight Hour in Pokemon GO is going to begin on Tuesday, September 6th, at 6 PM local server time. It will end an hour later (obviously, hence the name), at 7 PM local time. In this time window, Munna is going to be spawning way more frequently than usual, which increases your odds of getting a shiny one (more on that later). As is always the case with these events, there’s a bonus. This week, it’ll be double catch Stardust. In other words, you’ll get twice the stardust for every Pokemon you catch during the Spotlight Hour. Yes, I know most of you are already familiar with how these events play out, but sometimes we get new players here. We need to keep them in mind, too.

Can Munna Be Shiny?

Yes, Munna can indeed be shiny in Pokemon GO, and the Spotlight Hour will offer you a higher chance of running into one. To make things even better, the shiny version of Munna is super-easy to tell apart from the regular one. See how the normal variant is pink, and has a purple flower on its back? Well, the shiny one is bright yellow, with a green flower. You absolutely can’t miss it. And, yes, Musharna can be shiny, too. That’s Munna’s evolution, in case you’re out of the loop. So, if you’re a Pokedex completionist, and you’re missing either of these two, then you should probably gear up and make the most of the upcoming Spotlight Hour.
