Pokemon GO Mudkip Community Day Release Date, Time & Rewards

Being one of the most iconic Pokemon around, it’s no wonder that Mudkip is set to have an entire Community Day in Pokemon GO centered around it. Called the “Memories of Mudkip”, during this event, you will have a greatly increased chance of encountering this critter in Pokemon GO. To help you make the most out of this Pokemon GO’s Mudkip Community Day, we are going to tell you the release date, time, and rewards you can get out of it. Let’s get right into it.

Mudkip Community Day Release Date & Time in Pokemon GO

The Mudkip Community Day is set to start Sunday, April 10th, 2022, at 2:00 PM Local Time. It is going to last for three hours, and end on the same day, at 5:00 PM Local Time. During that time period, Mudkip spawns in the wild will increase significantly. So, if you haven’t caught a Mudkip yet, this is the perfect chance to do so.

Pokemon GO Mudkip Community Day Rewards & Bonuses

Besides the many Mudkip you will no doubt encounter during this Community Day, there will be other rewards and bonuses as well. Among other things, Incense and Lures will be active for three hours – exactly how long the event will last. Also, Trainers receive x3 Catch XP, you can buy two Event Bundles from the Store, as well as tickets for a Special Research Story. But the biggest bonus is the inclusion of a special attack that you can unlock for Swampert – the Hydro Cannon Charged Attack. To get this, you will need to evolve your Mudkip into Marshtomp, and then evolve your Marshtomp into Swampert.

Luckily, this evolution isn’t hard to do. To evolve Mudkip into Marshtomp you will need 25 Candy, and to then evolve Marshtomp into Swampert, 100 Candy. The catch is that you will have to do this on the day of the event itself to qualify. If you manage to do so, you will be rewarded with this special attack.
