Mewtwo Weakness & Best Moveset in Pokemon GO
Now that we’ve covered the Pokemon GO Mewtwo counters, time to dive into its weakness (well, weaknesses) and best moveset. As you’ve probably gathered by the list above, Mewtwo is weak against Dark, Ghost and Bug attacks, all of which deal 160% damage. On the other hand, you should avoid Fighting and Psychic attacks, because those deal just 63% damage.
As for its moveset, Mewtwo can have a wide variety of attacks. Quick Attacks include Confusion and Psycho Cut, both of which are Psychic moves. When it comes to Charged Attacks, there’s Focus Blast (Fighting), Psychic (Psychic), Ice Beam (Ice), Flamethrower (Fire) and Thunderbolt (Electric). There are also two Elite TM attacks, namely Shadow Ball (Ghost, available in raids from June 16th to 23rd) and Psystrike (Psychic, available in Raids from June 23rd to July 1st). For our money, the best combo is Confusion + Psystrike.
