Pokemon GO Ledyba Spotlight Hour

The July 2022 Ledyba Pokemon GO Spotlight Hour will take place on Tuesday, July 5th, from 6 PM to 7 PM local server time. During the event, Ledyba is going to be spawning more often in the wild, including the Shiny version. We’ll get more into that in the next section. As is always the case, there’s a special bonus that you can make use of during the Spotlight Hour, In this case, it’s double catch XP, meaning you’ll get twice the Experience Points for every Pokemon you catch while the event lasts. That goes for any Pokemon, mind you, not just Ledyba. So, just go out there and fling PokeBalls at anything that dares move in your presence.

Can Ledyba Be Shiny?

Yes, Ledyba can be shiny in Pokemon GO, so the July 2022 Spotlight Hour will be a good opportunity to grab one or more. Even if you already have a shiny Ledyba, and even a shiny Ledian, why not capture a couple of extras for, say, trading purposes? That said, if you don’t know what a shiny Ledyba looks like it’s just a few shades of orange brighter than the regular version. In other words, it’s kinda difficult to tell them apart, especially if you have a problem with seeing colors. Just go for every Ledyba that you see, and you’ll have decent odds of snagging at least one shiny. Besides, the bonus is double catch XP, so might as well go all out.
