King's Rock Pokemon Go - Evolve Slowpoke into Slowking
The Pokemon Go King’s Rock evolutionary item allows you to evolve Slowpoke in Slowking, among other things. And since Slowpoke and Slowking (and their Galarian versions) have been in the minds of Trainers lately for a number of reasons, there are a lot of players that have questions on the matter. How to Get King’s Rock in Pokemon Go
To get King’s Rock in Pokemon Go and evolve Slowpoke into Slowking, you basically have to keep spinning Pokestops. Much like all other evolutionary items, they are a rare drop whenever you spin a Pokestop, and they can also be a reward for completing your seven-day streak. Sometimes, it can also be a reward for completing a research task or from boxes in the shop, but that all depends on whatever event might be going on at the time. The only (relatively) surefire way of obtaining a King’s Rock is from Pokestops. May the gods of RNG look upon you benevolently.
Once you have a King’s Rock, you’ll need fifty Slowpoke Candy to complete the process. That should be a breeze if you’re taking part in the October 2021 Limited Research, which the developers launched as a mea culpa for the whole glitch where Slowpokes would erroneously evolve into Slowbros instead of Slowkings. Once you have 50 Slowbro Candy and the Pokemon Go King’s Rock, you can evolve your Slowpoke into a Slowking as you would any other Pokemon. Note that, if you don’t have a King’s Rock, you can only get a Slowbro.
Now, with all of that said, some of you might actually be wondering how to get a Galarian Slowking from a Galarian Slowpoke. That is actually a whole different matter. Get a Galarian Slowpoke, set it as your Buddy, catch 30 Psychic Pokemon, and gather 50 Galarian Slowpoke Candy. Complete the evolution.
