Pokemon GO Kangaskhan & Unown Coming to Europe
Kangaskhan, a Pokemon that’s exclusive to Australia and New Zealand, are now available in many European cities. These occurrences will last until August 21st, and, along with Kangaskhan, European trainers in the selected cities will be able to catch Unown and some other Pokemon that are uncommon on their continent. These rare monsters will spawn most around Unibail-Rodamco shopping centers, where Lure Modules will be placed on the weekends of August 12th-13th and August 19th-20th.
Just like Niantic announced back when they delayed the August Pokemon GO Safari Zone events, European trainers now have the opportunity to capture Pokemon that are extremely rare (or wholly absent) on the continent. The two Pokemon mentioned in the blog post announcing this event are Kangaskhan and Unown. This is excellent news for many trainers that will be in Europe from now until August 21st, because Kangaskhan is exclusive to New Zealand and Australia, and Unown is notoriously rare everywhere.
The best places to hunt for the rare Pokemon, according to the post, will be around Unibail-Rodamco shopping centers. It seems that they’ll spawn more often in these locations. Moreover, on the weekends of August 12th and August 19th, Lure Modules will be placed in PokeStops around the malls.
