Pokemon GO Festival of Colors Collection Challenge 2023

The 2023 Festival of Colors collection challenge in Pokemon GO requires you to catch eleven different Pokemon, three of which are just different versions of Burmy – Plant Cloak, Trash Cloak and Sandy Cloak. The final step is to evolve one of those Burmys (Burmies?) into a Mothim, which you can only do by evolving a male Burmy. The final reward is not that great, but hey, it’s about the journey and not the destination. With that said, here’s a list of what you have to do.

  • Catch a Koffing
  • Catch a Stunky
  • Catch a Wobbuffet
  • Catch a Natu
  • Catch a Shuckle
  • Catch a Paras
  • Catch a Krabby
  • Catch a Bruxish
  • Catch a Burmy (Plant Cloak)
  • Catch a Burmy (Sandy Cloak)
  • Catch a Burmy (Trash Cloak)
  • Evolve a Burmy into Mothim
  • Reward for completing every step of the challenge – 20,000 XP and one Lure Module

So, that’s what you need to do to complete the 2023 collection challenge in the Pokemon GO Festival of Colors. Of course, there’s a lot more to look forward to in the event, which will take place from March 8th to March 14th. For example, there are two Pokemon making their debut in this game, Bruxish and Mega Medicham. Also, a ton of interesting Pokemon will be both in Raids and wild encounters, including the many versions of Castform and Oricorio. You can check out the official event announcement if you need more details.
