Well, my dear trainers, you’ve campaigned and voted for the Pokemon you wanted to see as this month’s Community Day feature. Pokemon-went to the polls if you will. The results are in, and we have a winner: it’s Rhyhorn! Interesting choice; wouldn’t have thought that people would get so turnt on them. Anyway, on Saturday, February 22th, 2020, Rhyhorn is going to appear much more often than usual, as is always the case with these events. This, of course, also means that you’ll have better odds to encounter a Shiny Rhyhorn if you’re lucky.

As for the exact time of the event, it’s going to take place at different slots in the day depending on which hemisphere you live on. In the northern hemisphere, the Community Day is gonna happen between 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM local time, while the southern hemisphere will get the event from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM local time. The featured bonus during this event is going to be 3× Catch Stardust, which is going to be especially useful if your aim is to evolve a Rhyhorn into a Rhyperior. Which you should do, because a Rhyperior that you evolve during the event is going to get the Rock Wrecker exclusive move.

So, yeah. If you want to enrich your Pokemon collection with a Shiny Rhyhorn or a Rhyperior with an exclusive move, mark your calendar for February 22nd. That’s about all there is to say, really. Get out there and see what you can find.
