Donphan Weakness Pokemon GO, Moveset, Counters

Knowing the weakness, moveset and counters of Donphan in Pokemon GO is necessary if you want to beat it in the raids, as we’ve already said above. So, first off, which attacks are the best against the elephant Pokemon? Well, you want to use Water, Grass or Ice Pokemon against Donphan, since all those attacks do 160% damage to it. On the other hand, it takes only about half damage from Poison and Rock attacks, and next to nothing from Electric attacks. Makes sense, considering it’s a ground-type Pokemon. That said, you will want to have a full team of effective counters to emerge victorious.

As for Donphan’s moveset, it really runs a wide gamut. The quick moves include Tackle (Normal), Mud-Slap (Ground), Charm (Fairy) and Counter (Fighting). When it comes to normal attacks, the list is made up of Earthquake (Ground), Body Slam (Normal), Heavy Slam (Steel) and Play Rough (Fairy). So, if you’re gonna fight the elephant in raids, you’ll have to take all that into account. So, now that we know the Pokemon GO Donphan weakness and moveset, it’s time to list some counters.
