Pokemon GO Daily Incense, How to Use & Activate
If you don’t know how to use and activate the Pokemon GO Daily Incense, you’re probably not the only one. After all, it’s a brand-new thing, so Trainers are still discovering its ins and outs. In this guide, we’ll aim to explain what the Daily Adventure Incense is, what it does, and more.
What is Daily Adventure Incense in Pokemon GO
The Pokemon GO Daily Adventure Incense is a new item that Niantic added on July 25th, 2022. As the name implies, it is a special version of Incense. You can only get one a day, and only hold one in your inventory. While it’s active, you can’t use any other Incense, and vice versa. Once activated, this item lasts for fifteen minutes, during which “you may encounter Pokemon not frequently seen in the wild,” as the announcement reads. In fact, some players are even reporting meeting Galarian versions of Articuno, Moltres and Zapdos this way, which is pretty exciting. Keep in mind that you have to complete the Daily Incense Special Research before you can start using the item. The research mission is basically a tutorial, so pay attention.
How to Activate & Use Daily Adventure Incense Pokemon GO
To activate and use the Daily Adventure Incense in Pokemon GO, you basically just have to got through the same steps as with the regular Incense. Just hop into your Item Bag, find the Incense and swipe on it to use it. A blue fog will start circling your character, which means the Incense is working. After that, the item will disappear from your inventory until tomorrow.
Speaking of, the Daily Adventure Incense is not included in the number of items you can keep in your bag, which is good news. Also, if you have under or exactly thirty total Poke Balls, Great Balls, and Ultra Balls, you will get thirty more Poke Balls when you activate the Daily Incense. Lastly, when the Incense stops working after fifteen minutes, you’ll get a little recap of all the Pokemon you caught while it was active, which you can share on social media if you so choose.
I get spawns, but today I caught 15 pokemon in 15 minutes and only got credit for 5. Yes, I was moving the whole time, but there is no direction from Niantic about how fast or far you need to move, or how long you have to wait after catching one before you catch another in order to have it count as two separate locations. Very poorly rolled out IMO.
This daily incense is BS. I’ve activated it each day for the past 3 days and only one pokemon spawned in total. The first day zero, the second day one and today, the third day zero. I walked all 15 minutes each day. What a complete waste of time.
