The Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl Wayward Cave hidden entrance is one of the trickier things about the game. The cave actually has two entrances; one is a little more visible but pitch-dark, and the other one is not as bad, but you can’t see the doorway itself. So, in this guide, we’ll show you where to find the Wayward Cave hidden entrance in Pokemon BDSP, how to exit it, and what you need in both of them in order to proceed.
Wayward Cave Hidden Entrance Pokemon BDSP
There are two Pokemon BDSP hidden entrances to the Wayward Cave, and they’re close to each other. First off, you need to go to the south end of Route 206. If you head to the right of the entrance to the highway, you’ll see two trees that you can cut down. Do that, and head north until you come across the guy that kinda looks like a hiker wearing a hat with a red feather. The first doorway into the cave is further north from him, and it’s easy to see. The inside is dark, and you need the Flash move to see anything. More on that below.
The second entrance is hidden under the highway. From the hiker man, head left and under the highway until you reach one of the pillars holding it up. Next, take two steps to the right back under the highway, and head up. You should know find yourself in the cave once more. You’ll need Strength to move the rocks in front of you, which you get after beating the gym in Canalave City and get the sixth badge. Push the boulder and head left. Just keep walking back and forth in this small region of the cave to run into Gible.
How to Exit Wayward Cave in Pokemon BDSP
To exit the Wayward Cave in Pokemon BDSP after you find the hidden entrance, you can just go back the way you came. That can be a little tricky in the darkness of the first entrance, so make sure to have that Flash at the ready. Alternatively, you can use the Escape Rope item; that will take you straight out of the cave no matter where you are. Just remember that the item is a consumable, meaning that it will disappear from your inventory when used.
Where to Find Flash in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl
To find the Flash move in Pokemon Brilliand Diamond and Shining Pearl or BDSP, head to Veilstone and go to the upper left part of the city. There, you’ll find the department store. Head to the F3 area of the store and go left. Talk to the woman behind the counter in the upper left corner and purchase Flash from here. Give it to whichever Pokemon in your party can learn it, then hoof it back to Wayward Cave. Use Flash to light your way.
