Where to Find Water Stone Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl

To find the Water Stone in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl or BDSP, there are two ways you can go about it. The first one is to go onto Route 213, which is an aquatic route in the southeast of the map, southeast of Pastoria City. You need to get the Surf hidden move in order to navigate the deeper waters. For more info on that, check out our How to Get Surf Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl guide. Use the Surf move and get onto Route 213. As you’re going down the watery path, keep an eye out on the upper part of the screen. You’re looking for a floating Poke Ball in a semicircle of rocks, with two Trainers nearby. The Water Stone will be in that Poke Ball.

In case you need to know how to get more Water Stones in Pokemon BDSP or Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl, there is one more way to get them, and that’s to dig in the Grand Underground. By this point, you probably already know how that process works, but if you don’t, go ahead and read our How to Get Fossil Pokemon in in Grand Underground guide, because they work on the same principle. Basically, when you get the tools for digging, go and find yellow sparkles on the walls in the underground. Interact with them and carefully chip at the walls to see what lies hidden under the earth. Sometimes, it’ll be a Water Stone. The rewards are random, so you’ll need a bit of patience.
