New Trailer for Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl

So, what can we pick out from the latest Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl trailer? Well, the first thing the video shows us is the above-mentioned Poketch, which seems to be an all-purpose gadget. We see it used as a map, a way to edit your team, and a method of selecting Hidden Moves, aka various actions that you can perform after catching certain Pokemon (I assume). These include cutting trees, climbing rocks, traveling on water, and even flying.

Then there’s making Poffins, which seem to be a kind of pastry or mochi-like thing. You can add various Berries to it to craft different kinds of Poffins, which you can then feed to your Pokemon. Presumably, different treats have different effects. Of course, we have to mention the different characters you’ll meet. There are those like Cheryl and Riley, who will help you on your journey, and then there’s people like Gardenia, one of the Gym Leaders, who you’ll have to battle. All the usual things you’d expect to see in a Pokemon game.

Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl are coming out on November 19st, 2021, only on the Nintendo Switch. So, that’s about a month and half left to wait, give or take, assuming that there are no delays. Then, in late January, you can play Pokemon Legends Arceus, which is actually a prequel to Diamond and Pearl. You know, just in case you want to get the whole package.
