How to Relearn Moves Pokemon BDSP

To relearn moves in Pokemon BDSP or Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl, you need to find the Move Relearner NPC, but before that, you need to get some Heart Scales, aka the item show in the screenshot above. There are two in the overworld, one on Route 212 and one on Route 214. However, you’re going to need way more than that, so your actual main source of this item will be digging in the Grand Underground. For more info on that, check out our How to Get Fossil Pokemon in Grand Underground guide, where we explain the process of digging. Basically, when you get the tools, head into the Underground and look for the walls that have a yellow glint. Interact with these walls to begin the mining mini-game. The Heart Scale is a rare find, so you’ll be doing a lot of digging.

When you have at least one Heart Scale, to relearn moves, we need to find the Move Relearner in Pokemon BDSP or Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl, He’s in Pastoria City, in the lower right corner, in the house next to the water. Go into the house, and you’ll find the NPC that can help remind your Pokemon of forgotten moves. Mind you, you’ll have to give him a Heart Scale every time you use his services until you give him ten of them. From then on, he’ll do his job for free, which is really nice of him.
