How to Get Explorer Kit Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl

To get the Explorer Kit in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl or BDSP, you first need to play through the game until you get to Eterna City. That’s where the second gym is, so you won’t have to wait too long to get there. Once you arrive in Eterna City, find the Pokemon Center. You’ll see a house with a yellow roof and a blue door to the right of the center. If you read the sign next to that house, you’ll see that this is the house of a guy called “Underground Man.” Walk into the house and talk to the bald, old man. You’ll learn that he is, in fact, Underground Man, and he’ll give you the Explorer Kit. You can then use it to go into the Grand Underground.

So, that’s how you get the Explorer Kit in Pokemon BDSP or Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl. Once you acquire it, you can use it almost anywhere in the above-ground world to go underground and explore the vast cave system that covers the entire region. In there, you’ll find Pokemon that don’t appear above the ground, such as Togepi. That’s to say nothing of fossils and evolution stones and other cool things that are cave-only. Oh, and by the way, Eterna City is also the place where you can get the bike in Pokemon BDSP.
