There are numerous ways in which you can upgrade and improve your Pals. In this guide, we explain how your Pals can get more stars and how to level up their skills.
How to Upgrade Pal Skills in Palworld – How to Get More Pal Stars
If you have carefully analyzed your Pal stats profiles, you may have noticed four empty stars in the upper left corner. Just above your Pal’s level. What are these stars, and how do you get more stars for your Pal? This star system is just one of many ways in which you can upgrade your Pals. However, even just a single-star upgrade for a Pal requires a lot of sacrifice. Here’s how to get more stars for your Pals in Palworld:
- Reach Level 12.
- Unlock the Pal Distillation Pod in your Technology tree.
- Build a Pal Distillation Pod at your base.
- In your Pal Box, sort your Pals by Paldeck number.
- Interact with the Pal Distillation Pod.
- Choose a Pal you wish to upgrade with 1 star. (Select base Pal).
- Make sure it’s the one with the skills you want to save.
- Select eight other Pals of the same type to sacrifice them in order to give the base Pal a single star.
A single star will improve your Pal’s max HP, Attack and Defense. The UI will show the exact numbers for each improvement. In addition, each star will level up your Pal’s Partner Skill by one level. Keep in mind that each new star will require progressively more Pals to sacrifice. Level 1 star requires 8 Pals, for Level 2 star, you will need 16 Pals, and so on.
