Overwatch 2 Halloween Event Release Date & Time
Halloween events were a beloved staple of the original Overwatch. As such, it’s only natural that this tradition is continued in Overwatch 2 as well. This time, the event’s name is Junkenstein’s Revenge: Wrath of the Bride. Very spooky, as I’m sure you’ll agree. When Does Overwatch 2 Halloween Event Start?
The Overwatch 2 Halloween Event is scheduled to start this Tuesday, October 25th, 2022. While the exact time it will begin still hasn’t been officially confirmed by the developers, looking at past events, we can probably expect it to begin at the same time. That is, at around 2 PM EST / 11 AM PT. Of course, the event could start before or after that time, but they’ll most likely stick to the well-established formula. And now, let’s see what this event is all about.
First off, we’re going to get a new game mode. Similarly to Junkenstein’s Revenge, this Wrath of the Bride also seems to be about dealing with Zomnics. Only, this time, instead of preventing the hordes of Zomnics from getting into the Castle of Aldersbrunn, we’re probably going to need to clear the castle from a Zomnic infestation instead. And, what would a Halloween event in Overwatch be without new skins? Sojourn, Junker Queen, and Kiriko are all going to be getting new Halloween-themed skins. Kiriko is going to wear a Witch attire (complete with broom), Sojourn’s new skin is a noir detective getup, and Junker Queen looks like a character straight from some classic dungeon-delving fantasy. The cosmetics for other characters still haven’t been unveiled yet, but there’s probably more surprises in store for players once the event starts.
