UPDATE: On Wednesday, October 11th, at around 10 pm CEST / 9 pm BST / 4 pm EDT / 1 pm PDT, players are reporting issues with Overwatch 2 servers. Servers are currently offline, and players are unable to connect to OW2. It seems that there are broader issues with PlayStation and PlayStation Network. We will update the article once we have more information. At the time of writing, Blizzard or Sony are yet to respond about the issue officially.
