Science weapon on Groundbreaker location

If you want to complete the quest without help, but you feel stuck, make sure you’ve bought the hints from Gladys first. Afterwards, you’ll have to go to the computer in the captain’s quarters on your ship in order to read the logs. Only then will you actually get the hints. And here’s how to get to the weapon, if that’s what you were looking for:

As you land on the Groundbreaker, enter the customs and turn left immediately, then right. You’ll end up in a big, shared bedroom. If you look above the row of beds on the left, you might see a light coming through a hole in the wall. Climb onto the beds using the crates by the door, and head through the hole. You’ll have to fight a group of outlaws – their leader will have the Repair Hangar Keycard. Use that to unlock the tiny room on the north side of the hangar. You’ll find the Prismatic Hammer inside, in a case on the workbench.

If you want a little backstory, take a look at the terminal next to the hammer. It has several entries which show how the last person who found it slowly descended into madness while trying to figure the thing out.
