After repairing carapace with 1 di-hydrogen jelly:
*I work lubricant into the jammed cover, which slides open to reveal a biometric sensor. Unabled to activate it themselves, the Korvax awaits my input…”
1 Ask about sensor -leads to option2
2 Activate sensor -convergence cube
3 Refuse – receive 8801 units
Found a variant of one someone else posted.
“In one vision, the fragments of a complex equation are made whole and solved. In the other, a powerful shield deflects a stream of particles. They wait, expecting a decision.”
Choosing the shield (assuming the other option operates the same as what the other person shared) yielded x1 standing and a movement system upgrade.
A helpful find (v4.23) found at trading outpost so far, this appears to be indefinitely repeate-able
“This Korvax is generating a regular pattern of electronic tones, sou ndsthe are so deep, they barely register as notes- more like a rumble in my ear canal”
–>respond politely
“The subtle buzz of Korvax song continues to drone around me……….”
–> repete the pattern = 1 korvax standing
“Alter the pattern” +2 Korvax Standing
“Remain silent” -1 Korvax Standing
This Korvax is muttering aloud as they calibrate the facility’s equipment. A constellation is rendered across the various terminals installed here, a locational marker blinking on each side of the starfield.
1.) Point to markers [my second choice]
2.) Point to constellation
3.) Fiddle with equipment [oof; don’t choose this one, like I did]
4.) Leave
======================================================
I initially chose #3 (hoping it would grant me a Tech Fragment). He got annoyed with me (and probably decreased my Korvax Standing), but thankfully he let me try again. The next time, I chose #1 (Point to markers). The response was:
======================================================
Operator Entity Fimorskol is taken aback by my interest, examining me more closely as they reassess my capabilities. After establishing that I understand what a star is, they are a live feed from another observatory.
This remote facility appears to be stationed almost 600 light years away. The attendant Korvax is examining the same collection of stars, but from the opposing direction.
======================================================
In the very centre of the constellation is an anomalous light, blinking crimson.
1.) Count the stars [my first choice]
2.) Stare at the red star
3.) Leave
======================================================
From either angle of observation, the constellation is flanked by a number of softer lights – but the main kite shape, remarkably symmetrical from this observatory and the other, consists of exactly sixteen bright stars.
The Korvax notices what I am doing, and taps their finger against mine, sixteen times. They give me a meaningful look, and [sic] proivde some ship technology, that I might one day visit these systems first-hand.
Images of chemical formulae, directional energy diagrams and micro-density devices dance inches from my eyes. The speed of the entity’s cognition and understanding is clearly far beyond my own.
Attempt to read data – standing increase and nanites
Close Eyes
Ask them to stop

The mask lights in the electronic lifeform brighten, then fade and extinguish. Then they do so again. Each time the entity reboots, they awake with shock and alarm and the size and placement of the light is different.
“help! Korvax disconnection loop! Catalytic element is required to stabilise and recharge! ”
Everytime they look up at me, it feels like a different creature pleading for help. They desperately point towards the elements I carry in my Exosuit inventory…
Give catalytic element (10 Sodium) – Rewarded with Nanites and increased reputation.
Give metal element (75 Pure Ferrite) – Nothing happens.
Give organic element (15 Condensed Carbon) – Nothing happens.
They seem to be processing a signal that emanates from a distant location deep in space, attempting to crack the code of a strange mathematical language.
*Tap the datapad – Standing deceases (Korvax)
*Offer additional microchips ( 1 Microprocessor) – Planetary chart and standing increase
*Say ’16’ – Receive nanites and standing decreases
I just encountered one that I don’t see on this list, so I unfortunately don’t know all of the outcomes, my apologies.
. . . “Each entity shows me a projection of water, oceans, streams… each entity seems panicked.”
– Say you do not understand
– Show them water
– Seek coordinates – (Receive nanite clusters)
I just showed water, and the Korvax died and was replaced, but I got nanites
Saying you do not understand results in the Kovax dying and being replaced, but you get some nanites (it just seems to stand there powered off though)
EXP_NPC_DESC_15
The electronic lifeform makes a grab for my multi-tool. Its metal hands feverishly dance up and down it, as it feeds on data extracted from its systems and upgrades. Information from the procedure joins an apparent technology library on the screen behind it.
Something changes. The entity becomes attached to the multi-tool somehow, and sparks start to fly. The scream of melting internal systems can be heard from my equipment.
–>
Remove multi-tool from lifeform –> Increase Korvax Rep
Wait –> Damaged mod on multi-tool(?)
Leave –> ???
I picked wait.. and i got my tool back with an upgrade module
The Korvax’s movements are slow and sopirific. If they were an organic being, I would say that had awoken from a deep sleep. I do not know how such concepts apply to these lifeforms.
Tap the Korvax — I tap my fingers on the chest (no reward/nothing happens)
Leave –
leave and he shows you a multi Tool but nothing really happens
“The electronic lifeform appears to be listening to a strange rhythm on their data pad. Every time it touches the pad, light pulses emerge from the screen, punctuated by the occasional chatter.
The lifeform looks up at me, its music continuing to play.”
– Offer Units in appreciation (10 Units)
– Interrupt the music
– Try to copy the music
———–
I tried the appreciation answer. It gives Korvax reputation.
Try to copy the music – boltcaster module
Copy the music: X appears shocked that you tried to copy their cultural music and seems impressed at your attempt. Gifts nanites (~100+).
Try to copy the music – Increase Korvax Reputation, Multi-Tool Module
Copy music , rep + module
Way to get to the point there chief
Correction:
_”6. Description: The electronic lifeform is processing a signal that emanates…”_
Place rare oxides in vault (50 Titanium) – _You’ll receive some Korvax reputation,_ but no blueprint (nor nanites) are given
Adding to Korvax #14: i have chosen the exosuit and got a Stamina Enhancement Tau and full shields.
Sorry, #15 that is.
Merry Christmas 🙂
As i approach the Korvax, i become aware of a small device in their hands. They are descreetly but unmistakably pointing it towards me, moving its flashing lights and sensors up and down my suit.
– Protest
– Submit to the scan
Nothing happens at both lol
As I approach the terminal…
Upload memories
Cease production
Attempt to take a cube
I got this and don’t know what to do…any help would be greatly appreciated
Thx
If you choose “Upload memories” you will receive the Convergence Cube with no penalties. I haven’t tried the other options though.
Here is the full description…..
“As I approach the terminal, I sense an immense sadness and grief. I hear the echoes of a thousand souls, entities whose life was stolen from them long ago.
On the display, I see the production line of this factory – a vast array of cubes infused with the memories of an entire species. They appear to be caught within an endless cycle of trauma, unable to do anything but repeat their tradegy.
The terminal identified these items as Convergence Cubes.”
The Korvax makes a series of swift entries on their datapad, before turning the device towards me proudly. There are a series of numbers on the screen, with a highlighted entry at the top of the list.
– Nod Appreciatively (Korvax described as pleased, no other effect)
– Take datapad
Take datapad —- nothing happend
.5
Taking the needle decreases Korvax rep. But gave me a silicate element
Refusing the brain excavation decreases Korvax rep.
#15, choosing the exosuit I got a coolant network sigma, max-shields, and repaired tech
#15, the body option gave me max-shields, and max-health
A small creature is scrambling through the wiring below me, woken by the security alert. I’ts choice of nesting location was unwise…
I can’t regain control until it has been removed from the system.
Leave creature alone
Flush production network
Initiate power surge – Antimatter formulae and improved standing with the korvax
@painfield: Flush seems to do nothing and
Leave creature alone does the same as Power surge except it doesn’t increase standing.
I received the shielding sheet instead
The young electronic life form flicks hurriedly through endless reams of technology data. It gorges on information, which it then attempts to reform as a hologram in the air that stands between us. Even from my biological perspective, it’s clear that there’s a lot of information missing in the lifeform’s replication.
In the background, on a terminal, a timer ticks down. A new trial or duty for the lifeform is about to begin. The lifeform starts to despair as valuable seconds tick away…
Indicate an unwillingness to help
Give bypass chip
Share blueprint information
Answer:
Indicate unwillingness to help
Unwillingness to help raises your Korvax rep.
Bypass chip gives you either nanites or a blueprint and reduces your Korvax rep.
Share blueprint gives you units and reduces your Korvax rep.
The electronic life form buzzes a pleasant greeting, before four long metal needles suddenly spring from it’s fingers and straight through my shoulders. The entity lifts me clear from the floor, and angles me forwards until I’m staring directly into it’s enquiring mask lights.
The experience so far is curiously painless, but systems around the life form are powering up. The end of this unsettling procedure is in sight…
Demand to be let down(Korvax Research focus or above)
Wait
Break free
Answer: Wait
Equipment recharched and Photon Cannon Companion Unit
I rapidly flick through alien warnings to discover what’s brought the facility offline. All too late, I realize I’m doing the exact same thing again. And again.
I’ve done this before. Many times.
Reset clock
Engage temporal capacitor
Recharge flux crystals
Answer: Engage temporal capacitor
Two electronic lifeforms are registered on this terminal.
The primary entity’s work is full of complicated chemical symbols, the secondary entity focuses on diagrams of electronic circuitry.
Login as Secondary Entity (gives multi-tool blueprint
Login as Primary Entity (gives techonology component crafting)
#15
Option exosuit, you get a blueprint for your exosuit, shields repaired and recharged
#11
I chose mining survey and recieved a mining tool blueprint and standing increased
#20, give platinum, it dissapoints but still gives a word
The electronic lifeform is trapped in some kind of a temporal loop. It goes through these motions again and again. It shudders, it looks to me, abruptly screams half a sentence in panic – and then the process begins again. It is somehow unstuck in time.
At its feet resource vaults are burning through products – feeding an experimental procedure of some kind. So what is it?
1) Deactivate Propulsion tank
2) Deactivate Electron vapour
3) Deactivate charge reservoir – incorrect
2) Deactivate Electron vapour is correct.
– Gain blueprint and standing with the Korvax.
New Encounter
The life form that runs this facility has gone rogue. It chatters and buzzes with unnatural fervor, and its activity draining silicate from all systems. Memory chips in an exposed board beneath it glow red hot, and trade vaults are locked up tight.
As I approach the entity’s lights focus sharply upon me. It outstretches a silicon hand, and speaks with calm menace.
Demand that the trade vaults are opened
Feed system with silicates
Remove memory chips
Remove memory chips = tech. Warp reactor sigma. You are thanked by overseer and lifeform reboots
The Korvax is asking for silicates to “help [with] neural escape.” The Korvax is facing “permanent disconnection” otherwise. The translation of the Korvax’s statement reads: “Good morning unknown lifeform. Please provide silicates to help neural escape. The Korvax convergence think me dangerous. I face permanent disconnection.”
Feed Silicates = A New MultiTool but Korvax Rep Decreased.
#16 Use with clear mind causes damage with no results
#15 gives you a blueprint, rep and a sheet when you turn in silicate
As I approach the electronic lifeform it instinctively starts to analyze me from head to foot. It chitters animatedly, it’s head tilted to one side. The more it studies, the more the facility’s resource vault consumes what my scanner suggests are silicate elements.
I mime that I know little of its kind of how it communicates, and the lights in the mask flash…
Options:
Give rare silicate (50 chrysonite) – Learn new word, receive exosuit tech
Give uncommon silicate (50 platinum)
Give common silicate (100 heridium)
I chose “Give uncommon silicate (50 platinum)” and it responded with mile disappointment, but shared two words.
Give commun silicates —– receive one word
On the second 15 in this list, if you give silicate: Heridium, you also get a blueprint, a raise in rep with the Korvax, and a Microdensity Fabric.
# 6 if you give Chrysonite it will make no impact so the best option is the titanium.
#12
The red option also gives you a multitool blueprint and you gain rep with the Korvax.
A new encounter
The electronic lifeform flits between three separate replication experiments – all of which appear to be going wrong. Smoke rises from resource vaults, and the manic entity’s fingers are a blur on its control pad. it looks at me with wide mask lights and increasing alarm.
Its casing lamps suddenly settle on my exosuit inventory – and it outstretches a metal arm.
options
Give rare oxide (50 Titanium) blueprint
Give rare isotope (50 plutonium)
Give rare silicate (50 Chrysonite)
If you give the rate silicate, you are rewarded with a product recipe and increased standing with the Korvax.
Plutonium gives you blueprint
The Isotope option gives the player a craftabke Product formula
For #11 Mining choices grants you multi-tool as well.
The directed energy diagrams – Results in multi tool blueprint
#9 Wait – Choosing this option rewards user with a TOXIN SUPRESSOR SIGMA. Das right brotha you know protected from toxic damage, drink all you want.
And of course street red with da Korvax.
On #9, if you choose to “wait” you get a blueprint and increased rep with Korvax
Number 8, if you choose: “The directed energy diagrams”, you get a ship blueprint.
And some rep too!
Also for #7 if you give Bypass Chip (Option 2) you get Korvax rep and a blueprint.
#11 when choosing the asteroid field I got a “advanced cooling theta +3” blueprint and my standing with the Korvax improved
It’s a random ship tech blueprint – with 11, the standing always improves AFAIK.
For #6 if you place rare oxides in vault (Option 2) you get Korvax rep and a blueprint.
Description 10: if you choose the solved equation you get health, an exosuit schematic, and reputation
for number 8, if you answer microdensity, you get an exosuit upgrade.
