Nioh Reviews Roundup - Things to know before you buy
Nioh is an upcoming action RPG from Team Ninja. Many compare it to Dark Souls – it’s core loop is clearing an area of enemies, then fighting a boss. The story is set in feudal Japan, and follow a foreigner named William, who is tasked with cleansing the land of demons. It’s a highly anticipated Playstation 4 exclusive, and there were a couple of free trials which allowed players to take a look at the game themselves. In case that wasn’t enough for you to make a decision, we’ve made a Nioh review roundup, to bring you a bunch of critic opinions in one place. Hopefully it will help tip the scales.
Nioh reviews list
Many reviews have praised the challenging combat, trying to emphasize how different it is from the Souls games, while still heavily borrowing from them. The overal score is pretty high so far – between an 8 and a 9. Here are the reviews we’ve gathered:

As you can see, many of the reviews aren’t finished yet. Seeing how there are five more days before the game’s release, most of them will probably be ready before you can actually buy the game. If you’re still on the fence, just wait a bit for more review come out. If you’re inclined to buy, you can already preorder it and get some in-game trinkets. The standard edition costs $60, while the deluxe one is $80. The latter contains the season pass, as well, which will give you access to several story DLCs, once they’re released. Nioh is going to come out on February 7th, on Playstation 4.
