Ubisoft Announce Ghost Recon Frontline & Beta Dates

Announced today at the Ghost Recon 20th Anniversary showcase, the game will be available on Xbox consoles, PlayStation consoles, Stadia, Luna, and Windows PC.  The game has been developed by Ubisoft Bucharest, known for working on Ghost Recon Breakpoint and Ghost Recon Wildlands in the past. Cross-play will be available at launch. Anyone wanting early access should sign up at the official Ghost Recon Frontline website. The first test will be for PC players who reside in Europe only. This will run from October 14th to October 21st.

Ghost Recon Frontline Gameplay & Beta Dates

The game will be set in the open-world environment of Drakemoor Island. 100 players will compete in teams of three using a new take on the Battle Royale formula. Teams will have no tightening circle and will instead have to use tactics while traversing the map.

Teamwork is the key, as you complete objectives to collect intel. Once the intel gets received, a drop zone location appears. This becomes known to all players. Combat will then ensue to see who can claim the drop zone and escape from the island.

The focus will be on your team of contractors. They will be split into three categories. These are Assault, Support, and Scout class. Each has its own range of skills and specialisms. For example, Assault is great for close-range combat. Scouts are great for finding enemies and hitting them from a distance. At the game’s official launch, even more classes will be available.
