Each year the prize pool has been bigger than the previous one, with the TI10 (2021) ending with a whopping $40M prize pool. The last two The Internationals have seen the biggest jumps in the event’s history. The International 2019 had $9M more compared to TI8, and TI10 made a $6M jump in that regard.
Although, the forecast for The International 2022 prize pool isn’t exactly optimistic. Some analysts think that for the first time in the history of The International, the prize pool will not surpass the previous one ($40M).
