Steam Winter Sale 2017 Now Live, Together with Voting for Awards

It’s that time of year again. This year’s Steam Winter Sale is up, bringing tons of discounts on a very long list of games. It will last until January 4th, 2018. Along with it, people will be able to vote for the games they think deserve one of this year’s Steam Award. The first category is “Choices Matter”, and there’ll be new ones every day of the sale.

The ultimate punishment fir any PC gamer’s wallet, the dreaded Steam Winter Sale, is now live. As usual, hundreds of games of all genres and quality levels are on discount. The sale will be going on for two weeks. It ends on January 4th, 2018, at 1 PM ET. So, pretty much any and every single game you’ve been eyeing recently, you can now get at a reduced price. Of course, there’s way too many games in the sale to list all of them, but we can mention some of the biggest hitters. There’s Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice for $22.49, Metal Gear Solid V for $16, GTA V for $24, Middle Earth: Shadow of War for $42, Rocket League for $12, Hollow Knight for $10, Witcher 3 for $15, and so much more.

Along with all the games that are on sale, voting for the annual Steam Awards is also live once again. The voting will be happening throughout the sale, and every day will introduce a new category. At the time of writing, the category is “Choices Matter”, for games where, well, choices matter. The games in this category is The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Dishonored 2, Divinity: Original Sin 2, The Walking Dead: A New Frontier, and Life is Strange: Before the Storm. So, if you’re planning on spending some money on PC games this holiday season, head over to Steam and see what you can grab. And, while you’re at it, cast your vote for your favorites.
