There’s a new clicker game out on the market. It’s called Spaceplan, and it’s a special little game in its own way. Without giving anything away, it actually has a story told via text in the Word Outputer. It also has a sense of humor which includes a lot of potato puns. There’s a lot more to it, but my god, the potato puns.

The game also got a launch trailer, and it’s just as cryptic and weird as the previous Spaceplan trailer. We first see a barren landscape of a red planet. Then, a small potato-shaped creature with one eye and an antenna falls to the ground. Then another, and another. As the video progresses, we see what seems to be an entire colonization in progress, as gigantic white monolith-like structures land on the planet. The whole video is set to a sweeping electronic score in the vein of Vangelis. You can check out the video below.

As the video plainly says, Spaceplan is out now on Steam, the App Store, and Google Play. You can pick it up for $2.99. Yes, it seems weird to have to pay for a clicker that was a free browser game. However, it seems that the new version has a lot of new content (including an extended story), and you can play it in eleven different languages. Also, there are no in-app purchases or adds.

In short, this is an addictive clicker game with a silly sense of humor. If that sounds right up your alley, then Spaceplan is the game for you.
