Soulcalibur 6 hasn’t really got the best of track records when it comes to the treatment of customers. We’ve all heard about Tira, a beloved character from the series, being locked behind the Season Pass, forcing people to purchase the extra content. That’s the exact opposite of okay. However, it seems like the Season Pass looks like it’s gonna include some cool extra stuff. Among other stuff, it’s going to include extra characters, one of which is going to be Nier: Automata’s very own 2B. Does that make the Season Pass shenanigans acceptable? No, but oh well.

Anyways, 2B is coming to Soulcalibur 6 as one of the playable fighter on December 18th, according to Polygon. Aside from 2B herself, you’ll also get a stage inspired by Nier: Automata, a BMG track, stickers, an alternate costume for 2B, and even new weapons for 2B. How exactly does 2B tie in the Soulcalibur universe? According to her trailer, it has something to do with Ivy still alive and kicking in the year 11945 AD.

Incidentally, the Season Pass for Soulcalibur 6 costs $30 on its own. If you buy / have bought the Deluxe Edition of the game, which costs $90, you get the Season Pass as a part of the deal. Is it’s worth the money? That’s for you to decide. In the meantime, here’s a trailer showing off 2B in action in Soulcalibur 6.
