Sniper Elite 4 Uses Denuvo, Official PC Requirements Announced
Developer and publisher Rebellion have announced that Sniper Elite 4 will use Denuvo anti-tamper tech. They’ve also revealed official PC requirements for the game. The newest installment in the Sniper Elite franchise will need a fairly decent setup to run on.
Rebellion Development has decided to use Denuvo anti-tamper tech to protect their new game, Sniper Elite 4, because that’s a good idea. Fortunately for them, nobody has been having problems with the newest Denuvo tech. Especially not Conan Exiles and Resident Evil 7. It’s certainly better than nothing, I guess, but still.
Not to mention the fact that having any kind of DRM software always hurts PC sales. Many players refuse to pick up a game if it has Denuvo, even if they actually really want it. Apparently, some people have already started cancelling pre-orders over this. On the other hand, Sold Out called the game “a big hitter”, and they expect it will sell 200,000 physical copies on launch day. It better, considering Sold Out is the official retail publisher.
But enough cynicism. If you want to run the game on your PC, you’ll need at least a 64-bit operating system, an Intel dual-core with 4GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GTX 660 or an AMD Radeon HD 7870. You can check out the minimum and recommended setups in the list below.
Minimum Requirements- OS: 64-bit Windows 7, 64-bit Windows 8.1 or 64-bit Windows 10
- Processor: Intel CPU Core i3-2100 or AMD equivalent
