So, without further ado, let’s get into the thick of it. First off, let’s go through the minimum requirements, as detailed by VG24/7:

  • OS: Windows 7 x64, Windows 8 x64, Windows 10 x64 (64-bit OS Required)
  • CPU: Intel Core i5-4460 (3.40 GHz) or better; Quad-core or better

  • DirectX: Version 11
  • Network: Broadband internet connection
  • Storage: 100 GB available space
  • Sound card: DirectX 9.0c compatible sound card

As for the recommended specs, you’ll notice that the demands go significantly up. Of course, if you maintain that you don’t want to play via the Epic Games launcher, you’ll have until November 2020 to upgrade your machine. Anyway, here are the recommended specs:

  • OS: Windows 10 (64-bit OS Required)
  • CPU: Intel Core i7-7700 (3.60 GHz)
  • RAM: 16GB RAM
  • GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • Network: Broadband internet connection
  • Storage: 100 GB available space
  • Sound card: DirectX 9.0c compatible sound card

Now, of course, all of this info is pertinent only to those of you that aren’t gonna ask for a refund, and don’t mind playing the game on the Epic Store. Or those of you that will wait for a year for Shenmue 3 to come out on Steam. Shenmue 3 is coming out on November 19th, 2019, on PC and PlayStation 4.
