Psyonix is releasing the new Autumn Update to Rocket League. Among with a bunch of new features, you’ll also be able to enjoy several new maps, and a lot more. The update brings Competitive Season 5 to a close. Say hello to Competitive Season 6! Also, you’ll be able to enjoy a ton of new free items, etc.

Rocket League Autumn Update Brings New Arenas, Banners, & More

The Rocket League Autumn Update is now live. It brings some pretty cool new stuff to the game, including new arenas, customization, and free items. Of course, there’s also a bunch of little fixes in the update, as well.

So, what can you expect to get in the Rocket League Autumn Update? Well, for one, you’ll be able to play on the new seasonal arena, Farmstead. The name says it all; you’ll play on a beautiful farm in all its autumn glory. Also, Psyonix will be offering two more standard arenas, Starbase ARC and Wasteland. They are redesigned versions of ARCtagon and Badlands, respectively. The update adds over 90 free items to Rocket League, which you can earn either as drops or trade-ins, as well as the Accelerator Crate. Player Banners are now customization items that you can use to pimp your car.

There are some other new features that the Autumn Update brings. The game now offers Director Camera, Local Matches, and transparent goalposts. As of now, these are only available on Steam. The blog UI in the main menu has gone through a redesign. Also, the update marks the end of Competitive Season 5 and the start of Competitive Season 6. Your season rewards will be with you soon.
