Resident Evil Revelations Getting a PS4 & Xbox One Release
The critically acclaimed Resident Evil Revelations will soon be coming to the new generation of consoles. Pretty soon, PS4 and Xbox One owners will be able to play Resident Evil Revelations on their console of choice. The game will be out on the new systems in fall 2017.
One of the most popular installment in the Resident Evil franchise, Revelations was initially released for the Nintendo 3DS back in 2012 to very positive reviews, both from critics and fans. The success led to the game being re-released in HD for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Nintendo Wii-U and the PC. The game follows protagonists Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield, who board a ghost ship in the Mediterranean Sea and uncover another horrifying plot to infect the world.
The game was a great blend of old and new Resident Evil, balancing between the survival horror and action. The game would switch between the third person during exploration and first person during action sequences. All in all, it’s just a great Resident Evil title.
Now that the series is back on track and in the public eye thanks to the success of Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, what better time to revisit some franchise classics? After all, the remake of the first game was a huge improvement, and is considered by many to be one of the best games in the franchise. Well, Ressie fans both new and old got a very pleasant surprise on the Resident Evil Twitter page.
