PUBG Mobile 3.0 Update Release Date

Interestingly enough, there currently aren’t many rumors and leaks about the upcoming PUBG Mobile update. However, the latest 2.9 patch has been released recently. Hence, it might be too early for news to start rolling out. Nevertheless, while there’s not much to talk about regarding content we can expect, that doesn’t mean we can not predict when is the PUBG Mobile 3.0 update coming out. In order to determine the PUBG Mobile 3.0 release date, let’s first check out when the last couple of updates were released.

  • Update 2.7 – Update Rolling Out: November 7, Update Launch: November 9
  • Update 2.8 – Update Rolling Out: September 5, Update Launch: September 7
  • Update 2.9 – Update Rolling Out: July 11, Update Launch: July 13

As you can see, there was roughly a two-month period between each of the major updates in the second half of 2023. Hence, we can safely assume that there will be around two months between the 2.9 update and the 3.0 update as well. The second thing to note is that Krafton always starts rolling the update out on Tuesdays. While the update itself launches two days later, on Thursdays. Thus, it is reasonable to assume it will be the same this time around. With these two factors in mind, our estimation is that the PUBG Mobile 3.0 release date is Thursday, January 11th, 2024. While the 3.0 patch will start rolling out two days earlier, on Tuesday, January 11th. Of course, we will follow the official news and update the article if there are any changes.
