It’s that time of the month again; it’s time to look over what Sony has prepared in terms of free games for PlayStation Plus subscribers. The list has been revealed on PlayStation Blog, so let’s go through what’s on the menu. On the PlayStation 4 side of things, we have Heavy Rain and Absolver. Heavy Rain probably needs no introduction, being a David Cage game and all. It’s a psychological thriller, “full of twists and turns.” In the game, you are trying to hunt down the Origami Killer, and also yelling Jason a lot. Absolver is an online multiplayer game, where you pick your character, weapon, and build your Combat Deck of attacks for PvP and PvE battles while exploring the world. It’s a fun little twist on a tried and true formula.

On the PlayStation 3, your picks include Rayman 3 HD, a classic platformer, and Deception IV: The Nightmare Princess. Deception IV is an interesting beast. You play as a demon trying to trap souls for the devil. It’s basically a strategy game, where you set crazy and creative traps to capture humans. Lastly, the PS Vita. There, you can nab Space Overlords and Zero Escape: Zero Time Dilemma. In Space Overlords, you play as, well, a Space Overlord, who has been captured by an evil entity. You have to rise to the challenge and purge the cosmos of evil, one planet at a time. Zero Time Dilemma is an adventure game with a non-linear story and multiple endings, full of puzzles and the like.
