Pillars Of Eternity II: Deadfire has already exceeded its crowdfunding campaign on Fig by 331% (3.5 millions), with more than 28.000 backers. The campaign will end on the 25th of February, and all of the surplus funds will be used to add multiple features once the game is released.

The primary goal of Pillars Of Eternity II: Deadfire was 1,1 millions, which was reached in just 24 hours after the campaign started. The game will now feature a customizable ship that can be used for transportation, 4 sidekicks and many more additional features.

The game has a very similar formula to the iconic Baldur’s Gate II: Shadows of Amn and Planescape: Torment, bringing the massive RPG elements with an engaging story and memorable companions. The game will feature an isometric camera view and pausable combat, which is very useful for issuing individual orders in tense combat situations. Visuals are also vastly improved compared to the original Pillars of Eternity, with numerous weather effects and graphical details. The water effects look amazing, as well as the sandstorm that obstructs your view, while the clothing on your companion sways in the wind.

The game will encourage world exploration, with an engrossing story which will impact your companions, depending by the choices that you make.
