What is Permafrost the Video Game?

It is a third person survival game with snow and ice permeating the landscape. Your character is stuck in a world that’s frozen after some sort of apocalyptic event. You’ll have to fight the elements, but also natural predators and other enemies, just to stay alive. Ultimate goal is trying to stabilize the civilization and have the humans survive. You’ll do so by helping remnants of civilization found in the game’s world. First of all you’ll have to survive yourself though.

To help you accomplish that SpaceRocket Games revealed in a recent Q&A that they will be adding two new weapons to the game, including a crossbow. The developers also teased advancements in ranged combat mechanics and announced the introduction of more companion options and dog breeds. To aid in navigating the expansive terrain, the launch will feature transportation methods such as a sleigh and snowmobile. There are a lot more customization options for players to be able to tune the game to their personal taste to be included when the game fully releases.
