Nintendo Direct, the presentation many Nintendo fans have been waiting for, has been moved, as I’m sure many of you are aware. The original plan was for it to happen last week, but, unfortunately, that did not pan out. The new date for the Nintendo Direct presentation is Thursday, September 13th, or Friday, September 14th, depending on your time zone. UK time, it starts at 11 PM on September 13th, which is midnight CEST on September 14th. That, in turn, is 6 PM EDT, so you can find your way from there. You can expect to see a bunch of upcoming Nintendo Switch and Nintendo 3DS titles. To watch it, you can tune in on the Nintendo Direct website, or the Nintendo YouTube channel.

In other news, the Nintendo Switch online service finally has a release date. Much like Nintendo Direct, the launch date will vary depending on your time zone. For example, it’s starting on September 19th, while, according to the Nintendo of America Twitter, it begins on September 18th. So, yeah, it seems that it will unlock on different dates depending on your location. If you have a Nintendo Account, you’ll also have the option of a seven-day free trial that you’ll be able to sign up for on the Nintendo eShop.

On top of all of that, there’s a bunch of interesting indie games coming to the Switch, including Bastion, Dust: An Elysian Tail, and many others. So, yeah, overall, a very eventful week for Nintendo fans!
