Mortal Kombat 11 Director Gives Players Glimpse of Nightwolf

Ed Boon, the creator of Mortal Kombat, has posted a ten-second video of Nightwolf in Mortal Kombat 11. As you probably know already, Nightwolf is going to be one of the DLC characters included in the Kombat Pack. True, there’s not much that you can get from a ten-second video, but one assumes this is a prelude to some grander reveal some time soon.

Mortal Kombat 11 Director Gives Players Glimpse of Nightwolf

San Diego Comic Con is winding down now, but while it was still in full swing, Ed Boon, the creator of Mortal Kombat, treated the players of MK11 to a small glimpse of Nightwolf, one of the upcoming DLC characters. He did so via his personal Twitter account. And I do truly mean small; all it is is a ten-second long video. It doesn’t even feature any actual gameplay. But, still, seeing as how he’s been teasing people about Nightwolf, I guess you’ll have to take what you can get.

Now, the “glimpse” that Boon gave players is really not much to speak of. Basically, all you get is Nightwolf twirling his tomahawk. He then raises it to the skies, cries out, and a bolt of lighting strikes the ax. Truly riveting stuff, isn’t it? I mean, it is the classic ending pose for Nightwolf, ever since he appeared for the first time. So, I would assume that’s the case here, too. But, I mean, come on. Either give players something more concrete, or just don’t give them anything at all until you have it ready.

And I know I’m not the only one that feels that way. Even some posts on Reddit have been popping up with the same complaints. But anyway, enough of me moaning. Other than this glimpse, we didn’t get anything else about Nightwolf in Mortal Kombat 11. So, stay tuned for further info as the situation develops.
