So, first off, the Creeping Winter DLC. In it, “a wintry storm that threatens to consume all it touches,” according to the official blog post. The only way to stop this horrible calamity is for you, the hero, to “take on new missions and relentless new enemies.” Not to mention “chilling new mobs and slippery ice.” On the bright side, you can expect to earn “new armor, weapons, and artifacts” on the way. In other words, it’s standard fare for content expansions of this nature.

On top of that, all Minecraft Dungeons players can look forward to a free update on the same date. Said update is going to add Daily Trials and new merchants to the game. Save the merchants while exploring the game, and they’ll set up shop in your camp. You can get the Blacksmith, who upgrades your weapons, and the Gift Wrapper, who lets you trade items with other players in multiplayer. AS for the Daily Trials, that’s all they are – little challenges for you to overcome every day and keep things fresh.

Last, but not least, they’re releasing a physical version of Minecraft Dungeons on PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. Plus, the physical copies are going to contain the Hero Edition of the game, meaning you’ll get both the Jungle Awakens and Creeping Winter DLC and exclusive cosmetics along with the base game. Now, this is all launching on September 8th, except for the PS4 version in Japan, which is coming out a month later.
