A direct sequel to 2002’s Metroid Fusion on the Game Boy Advance, this will be the first new Metroid 2D entry in almost twenty years. Metroid Dread will have Samus take on a terrifying new enemy – the robotic E.M.M.I. Judging by the trailer, Samus won’t be able to damage this creature, and will be forced to run for her life instead. A significant part of the game will no doubt revolve around coming up with new ways to evade E.M.M.I., while still exploring the environment.
