Kingdom: The Blood Gets Release Date
Kingdom is a very popular South Korean TV series that aired on Netflix from 2019 to 2020, with a special episode in 2021. The show centers around a zombie outbreak during the 16th century. Needless to say, but compared to similar shows that almost always take place during the present day, this has made Kingdom a very engrossing and unique experience. And it also means that it’s a great fit for a video game adaptation. Enter – Kingdom: The Blood. This much-anticipated video game is going to release very soon, as it has recently revealed its official release date.
Kingdom: The Blood Release Date
A recent announcement confirms that Kingdom: The Blood is going to release on March 5th, 2024. You can already pre-register for the game over on the Google Play Store, the App Store, the One Store, and the Galaxy Store. The game is also going to be available on Steam as well.
Developed by Team Mago at Action Square, the studio’s PD, Kang Hyeong-seok, had this to say about the game’s imminent release: “We could confirm the enthusiastic response from global users to the unique close-quarters combat and gameplay of Kingdom: The Blood.” He continued: “Based on the feedback from users, we will do our best to deliver a high-quality game service until the official release.”
Set during the same time period as the Kingdom TV series – that is, 16th century Joseon – the game promises to include all of the things that made the show so great and memorable. That is, frantic and bloody action against hordes of flesh-eating zombies. If you are a fan of the TV show, the zombie genre, or want to learn more about Korean history, traditions, clothing, and architecture, then this game might be just what you’re looking for. All in all, March 5th can’t come soon enough.
